Mitch Ivanoff & Lee Carroll, Acoustic Blues Duo

Kentucky Repertory Theatre, 107 E. Main St, Horse Cave KY http://www.kentuckyrep.org/

As part of the fantastic new acoustic blues series at the Horse Cave Theatre (in Horse Cave KY…where I grew up), Mitch Ivanoff and Lee Carroll will perform on May 31st.

You’ll find no more informed students of the blues than Mitch and Lee. They met six years ago at Harrisburg’s Hotel Lochiel, then home to the weekly Blues Society of Central PA jam. Mitch had started Krypton City Blues Review ten years earlier which Lee joined, and their long running partnership began. A staple of the Central PA blues scene, Krypton went on to represent Central PA in the International Blues Competition in Memphis in 2007.
